IPOH: Tragedy struck a quiet neighbourhood in Bandar Baru Tambun after a 46-year-old woman and her two daughters were found dead in their home.
Ipoh OCPD Asst Comm Muhammad Najib Hamzah said police received a report at about 9.10pm on Thursday about three unconscious individuals at the house.
Investigators found the woman and her daughters, aged 12 and 11, dead inside a room.
“Police also found a container believed to contain the remains of burnt charcoal in the room.
“Preliminary examinations by the police forensic team and a forensic medical specialist found no signs of injury or foul play on the bodies.
“The case has been classified as a sudden death report,” he said in a statement yesterday.
