Woman among two booked in sedition case in Lahore over alleged recruitment of youths for PTI protest

LAHORE - Police have registered a case against two people, including a woman, in Defence area of Lahore over allegations of preparing a group of youths to participate in a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protest in Islamabad. According to a police spokesperson, a man identified as Amin was arrested during a raid, while three of his alleged associates managed to escape. The three unidentified individuals have also been nominated in the case, and efforts are underway to arrest them. The spokesperson said an audio recording of a woman was allegedly recovered from Amin's mobile phone.
