TRIBUTES HAVE BEEN paid to a woman who died following an alleged assault in Dublin this week, with her family remembering her as a “kind, loving, funny person who was full of life”.
Kathleen Carey, aged in her 30s, died in Beaumont Hospital on Thursday after she was found seriously injured outside a property near Main Street in Belmayne on Monday afternoon.
Her death comes just weeks after the death of her sister Natasha, who was buried last month.
A family member has now started a fundraiser to help pay for Kathleen’s funeral and support her daughter.
“Our Kathleen Carey was a kind, loving, funny person who was full of life,” a relative of Kathleen wrote.
“She always made you smile with her quirky side. She was an amazing person who will be deeply missed.
