Fudd will miss the rest of the season and will undergo an arthroscopic procedure on her right knee, the Dallas Wings announced on Wednesday.
Fudd will undergo the procedure in Connecticut early next week. A specific timeline for her return is not yet known, though she's expected to be sidelined between four to six weeks recovering.
Fudd hasn't played since a loss to the Washington Mystics on Aug. 5, when she dropped nine points and had three steals in 34 minutes. Fudd did not play in the Wings' game against the Golden State Valkyries two days later after experiencing soreness in her knee during pregame warmups, and she's been sidelined dealing with that ever since.
The Wings selected Fudd with the No. 1 overall pick in the WNBA Draft earlier this year. She's averaged 13.1 points, 1.8 assists and 1.7 rebounds per contest.
