MUMBAI: The father of an IIT-Bombay student who died by suicide has said he will take his son’s body to the campus and refuse to leave until those responsible for his death are arrested, as protests continued at the institute on Saturday.The student's father, Ravindra Wakode, a bank employee, said that he will be taking the body to the campus and will not leave till officials responsible for his death are arrested.The student’s parents, who are from Yavatmal, reached the IIT-Bombay campus on Saturday, a day after their second-year son died by suicide.The family has alleged that the death was linked to casteism and “institutional torture” and maintained that their son would not have taken such an extreme step.
