The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) on Thursday told the Supreme Court that it will consider introducing front-of-pack warning labels on packaged food products that are high in any one nutrient of concern such as sugar, salt or fat.FSSAI changed its position after the Supreme Court questioned its earlier proposal to mandate warning labels only for products that are high in two or more nutrients of concern.
