Continuing his attack on the Opposition Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Saturday said the Congress would organise public meetings in Sircilla and Siddipet soon, the Assembly constituencies represented by BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao and former Minister T. Harish Rao respectively, to counter the Opposition party’s allegations against the State government.
Addressing a public meeting in Nakrekal, Nalgonda district, after inaugurating a 100-bed government hospital, Mr. Revanth Reddy said the Congress would not allow the BRS to regain its political foothold in Telangana.
“I will come to Sircilla by the end of this month and hoist the Congress flag. I will come to Siddipet next month. Be prepared. If the number of Assembly seats increases, we will win 117 seats. If the number of seats remains the same as now, we will win 90 seats,” he said.
