John Hynes signed a multiyear contract with the Minnesota Wild on Tuesday. Terms of the new deal, which begins next season, were not released.
The 51-year-old, has been Wild coach since Nov. 27, 2023, and was entering the final season of his contract.
"John's done a fabulous job with our team," Wild general manager Bill Guerin said. "The work that him and the assistant coaches have done over the last couple years, to me I see firsthand day in and day out the work that he puts into it. And the commitment that he has to the Minnesota Wild and the results."
