PETALING JAYA: The wife of a missing Malaysian firefighter is joining a local disaster relief team to search for her husband and his expedition group, who remain unaccounted for following severe flooding in Nepal.
Hani, who flew to Nepal to track down her husband, Senior Fire Officer II Mohd Fakhrul Munir Mohd Isa, confirmed Saturday (Sept 5) that she is joining forces with local non-governmental organisation Samundra/ Himalayan Leaders.
"I am heading to the affected area from Nuwakot to Betrawati with the NGO," Hani shared in a Facebook post, documenting the team's preparations as they prepared to transport aid toward Trishuli.
