TUTICORIN: A 40-year-old man electrocuted his two minor children to death before killing himself at Saveriyarpuram near Pudukottai in Tuticorin district on Friday. Police said the man was distraught after his wife left him for another man.The deceased were identified as Mary Michael, a truck driver, his daughter Mary Nirosha, 14, a Class IX student, and son Mary Keniston, 12, a Class VII student, both studying in a private school.According to police, Michael’s wife had left the family about six months ago and was reportedly living with another man. This had left Michael depressed, following which he stopped going for work regularly as a truck driver. Instead, he took up painting jobs occasionally.On Friday, Michael reportedly brought food for the children and asked them to go to sleep.
