Nyago said some residents currently trek long distances in search of water, while others are forced to collect water from trenches, exposing them to health risks in the area. “When pupils sit comfortably in class, their brains are relaxed and open to learning well, unlike when they are uncomfortable and worried about having their uniforms torn by old furniture or getting body pinches from dilapidated furniture,” he said.
