Amid the uproar over alleged embezzlement of donations at the Ram Temple Trust in Ayodhya in the second week of June, the Uttar Pradesh government appointed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the case. The team — comprising Lucknow Divisional Commissioner Vijay Vishwas Pant, Inspector General (Lucknow Range) S.
