Just four days before his death, veteran actor Nana Patekar spoke about the uncertainty of life while attending an event in Goa, urging people to serve others and make the most of their time.Patekar, 75, was the chief guest at the October 4 installation ceremony of Rajshri Khandeparkar of Samrat International Club in Goa, former MP Narendra Sawaikar said.Merely four days ago, Nana Patekar said, "This is how life should be lived. Serve as much as you can. After all, what are we going to take with us when we leave," according to Sawaikar.Sawaikar said Patekar "spoke fearlessly and frankly" at the event, where he "took jibes and also gave some from his own pocket." He also danced with the Samai dance group, Sawaikar said.Patekar died on Thursday after suffering a severe cardiac arrest.
