Which teams are the most intriguing trade fits for Nikita Kucherov?
NHL superstar Nikita Kucherov has requested a trade from the Tampa Bay Lightning due to a breakdown in communication with management. While the team has expressed no immediate intent to trade him, the situation marks a significant shift for the franchise.
Why it matters
Kucherov's trade request is a major development in professional sports, potentially impacting the competitive landscape of the NHL.
Whoa. Despite the fact we’ve seen captains Quinn Hughes and Brady Tkachuk and superstar goaltender Connor Hellebuyck force their way off their teams, and ex-captain Dylan Larkin try to force his way off his team, in the past 10 months, the Nikita Kucherov trade request was a staggering haymaker when it dropped on Friday night.
