BENGALURU: A 26-year-old woman fought back after a fruit seller allegedly harassed her outside her paying guest accommodation in Ramamurthy Nagar in the early hours of Monday, confronting him, recording the incident on her phone, and later helping police arrest him.The accused, Vijay Raghav, 42, a resident of NRI Layout, was booked following a complaint by the private firm employee from Chikkamagaluru.According to police, Raghav spotted the woman outside the PG around 1.30am and stared at her. When she questioned him, he allegedly asked her “price” and offered Rs 10,000.Enraged, the woman began recording the interaction on her mobile phone, after which Raghav fled on his scooter.Later that morning, she uploaded the video on social media. After it went viral, police contacted her and asked her to file a formal complaint.
