Last season, Kerry ended Tyrone’s season after a comprehensive semi-final victory which was in similar vein to their quarter-final win in 2023. Jack O’Connor’s men scored a decisive 13-point win over Armagh in Killarney last weekend having previously beaten Kildare in round 2B. They did lose out to Donegal in round one so they aren’t invincible. Tyrone took the direct path to the last eight by beating both Roscommon and Mayo.
