I have always loved menswear. Ties, oversized shirts, structured tailoring, taking something inherently masculine and working out what it means on me. And I’ve often wondered, and sometimes stressed about, what the clothes I choose to wear actually say about who I am.

Fashion has always played with the tension between femininity and masculinity, softness and strength. To me, there is nothing stronger than a woman strutting along in a pair of stilettos, but I’d say the same of a sharply structured suit.
