'What a way to end it'

Bohemians secured a 2-1 victory against Ballkani in the final European match held at Dalymount Park. The stadium is set for redevelopment, making the win a historic send-off for the venue.
Why it matters
The match marks the end of an era for a historic football venue, highlighting the intersection of sports heritage and modern infrastructure requirements.
Alan Reynolds felt Ross Tierney's wonderstrike was a fitting way for Bohemians to sign off from Dalymount Park as the famous stadium hosted its final European tie.
The Dublin venue, which has hosted Manchester United, Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich, is set to undergo a redevelopment and, should Bohs seal a place in the next round of the Europa Conference League after next week's second leg, won't be able to hold the next game due to increased standards for that phase of the competition.
They turned around a first-half deficit against Ballkani to secure a 2-1 advantage ahead of next week's trip to Kovoso, with substitute James Douglas-Taylor's equalisier and Tierney's superb right-footed rocket from outside the box sealing the win.
"This is the last European game in Dalymount. What a way to end it - with a goal like that," Reynolds told RTÉ Sport.
