JACKSON, Tenn. (WBBJ) - Labor Day gave people across West Tennessee a chance to slow down and spend time with family as the holiday marked the unofficial end of summer.
Labor Day is more than just a day off, it’s a chance to slow down. We asked West Tennessee how they’re spending the holiday.
“Nothing but I am going to just ride my razer with Londyn,” said Dani Taylor.
Londyn Theus said spending time outdoors with family was her favorite part of the day.
“I feel like that my favorite part of Labor Day is that I get to spend time with her, my family, and I get to go enjoy nature around and go in the back rows with her and enjoy nature, get in the feel, all of that, get dirty,” Theus said.
KeVion Honeywood Jr. said he was spending his Labor Day fishing with his grandparents.
