The Pallikaranai Police have arrested a 31-year-old man for smuggling and selling ganja on the Pallavaram-Thoraipakkam Radial Road on Saturday.

A senior official of the Tambaram Police Commissionerate said a police team from the Pallikaranai Station were on patrol duty on the Pallavaram-Thoraipakkam Radial Road, when they spotted a suspicious individual and questioned him.

After he gave evasive answers, the police searched his bag and found 500 grams of ganja. The police then arrested him.
