Share A A A Today show weatherman Tim Davies announced on Friday morning he was leaving the program, after seven years on air.

“This seems like the right time to step back, enjoy a sleep-in, take a break without a camera crew and prepare for my next adventure,” said Davies, who added that he had the best job on TV, delivering “good news, good vibes and a smile with each story”.
