Minister for Revenue and Disaster Management K.A. Sengottaiyan said on Saturday that the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam would achieve a huge victory in the byelections for Maduranthakam and Dharapuram constituencies and those to other constituencies, which would be announced by the Election Commission of India (EC) after the High Court delivered its verdict on September 28. He was speaking to reporters after attending the centenary celebrations of the Kaliappampalayam Panchayat Union Primary School near Gobichettipalayam. He distributed prizes to students who had won various competitions. Asked about development works for schools that had completed 100 years, Mr. Sengottaiyan said all parts of the State were being monitored directly by Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay through the School Education Department and all schemes would be implemented effectively.
