‘We were actually sad to leave,’ says travelling duo after spending month in Labrador
A couple and their dog are documenting their van-life travels across Canada, recently spending an extended month exploring Labrador. Their journey, shared on their YouTube channel, highlights scenic locations and local experiences in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Alannah MacLean and Kyle Heddle, along with their dog Diesel, packed up their lives in a custom designed van that doubles as their home to explore North America.
“We’re kind of living our golden years now, I would say,” MacLean told CBC News.
They pair were recently in Labrador as part of their journey and MacLean said initially, they thought their stay would be much shorter before catching a ferry to the island.
“I actually was just kind of like, ‘Oh we’ll probably just be a week in Labrador before we get to Newfoundland' — and it was almost a month!” she said.
