‘We demand the truth’: Olga Tokarczuk and JM Coetzee lead calls for proof of life of disappeared Eritrean writers
Over 180 prominent writers, including Nobel laureates, have signed a letter demanding proof of life for 12 Eritrean authors detained incommunicado since 2001. The letter highlights the ongoing suppression of free speech and the lack of information regarding the writers' health and location.
