"We clearly have an issue" - Red Bull responds to Max Verstappen's radio complaints
Red Bull Racing is struggling with significant balance and handling issues with their RB22 car during practice for the Italian Grand Prix. Technical director Pierre Wache confirmed the team is evaluating components and setup changes to address the performance deficit.

Friday ahead of the Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix was far from trouble-free for Red Bull. There had been hope beforehand that Monza's layout would suit the team better than Zandvoort, but after Friday practice both Red Bulls were behind a Racing Bulls ( Arvid Lindblad ) and a Haas ( Oliver Bearman ).
Max Verstappen gave up his seat to Ayumu Iwasa during first practice, but once he got behind the wheel of the RB22 in the second session, the list of complaints was long. The four-time world champion struggled, among other things, with the brakes, a lack of rear downforce and a car that was bouncing heavily after set-up changes.
Technical director Pierre Wache admits Red Bull has plenty of work to do if it is to turn the race weekend at the Temple of Speed around.
