Water level in Mullaperiyar dam stood at 117.75 feet (the maximum permissible level is 142 ft.) with an inflow of 134 cusecs and a discharge of 511 cusecs .The level in Vaigai dam was 42.42 feet. (the maximum level is 71 ft.) with an inflow of 251 cusecs and a discharge of 86 cusecs. Combined storage in Periyar credit was 3,284.89 mcft.
