Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) Managing Director Ashok Reddy on Monday directed officials to set clear 15-day and 30-day targets for low-performing areas and achieve improvements in drinking water supply and sewage management.
During a review with senior officials from Hyderabad, Cyberabad and Malkajgiri regions, he stressed the need for permanent solutions to recurring complaints instead of repeating temporary fixes. Areas reporting the highest number of complaints should be identified using data, and managers should be asked to prepare specific action plans for their jurisdictions.
