Massive wildfires have ravaged multiple regions across Europe. Regions in France and Spain are fighting their worst blaze of the year caused by intense heatwaves that took over Europe.In southwestern France has driven more than 220,000 people from their homes, with officials ordering another 55,000 to leave overnight as the blaze pushed closer to the to Bordeaux.Authorities in Gironde issued fresh evacuation orders for five communities southwest of the city late Saturday. Overnight winds fanned the flames, speeding the fire's advance in an area where it has been burning uncontrolled since Wednesday.The regional prefect also ordered the partial shutdown of a key highway running southwest from Bordeaux toward the Atlantic coast.A separate wildfire in the Landes region, further south, had already displaced 30,000 people earlier in the week.
