Watch: What could Trump's energy ceasefire mean for Ukraine?

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has expressed willingness to pursue an energy ceasefire with Russia to help end the war. However, the proposal faces uncertainty as Moscow has not confirmed agreement and continues to target Ukrainian energy infrastructure.
Why it matters
Energy infrastructure attacks have left many Ukrainians without heat or power during winter, making a ceasefire a critical humanitarian and strategic development.
Ukraine's President Zelensky responded by saying his country is willing to back an energy ceasefire if Russia does the same, adding it could "become a major step toward ending the war".
However, Moscow hasn't confirmed its agreement and Zelensky said Russia hit a Ukrainian power plant in Kharkiv "immediately after" Trump's post on Sunday.
The BBC's Ukraine correspondent Dan Johnson reports from Kyiv, where Ukrainians are facing another winter with electricity outages that leave people without heat, light or even water.
