Donald Trump called King Charles “the greatest king, in my book” during the monarch’s US state visit in April. Months later, the tone had shifted sharply: on Labor Day, Trump included Charles in a three-minute Truth Social montage portraying several public figures unfavourably, using an edited 2020 clip that omitted footage showing the King staying near a worker who had collapsed.The montage contrasts clips involving the other figures with footage of Trump.
