Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said emergency services had responded to an incident at a property on Reservoir Street in Salford, spending two days at the scene.
Footage shows officers from the force's tactical unit gently resting a ladder against the roof of a back porch, with an officer then grabbing the man while he was sleeping.
A struggle ensues and the man is pulled down, with his trousers appearing to fall down, before he is arrested by officers in the garden of the property.
Two police officers suffered minor injuries during the incident on Saturday.
