PATNA: An advocate was shot dead by some armed miscreants in Katihar district on Monday. The incident was captured on video and has now become a key piece of evidence in the murder investigation.The victim has been identified as advocate Guddu Ansari, 35, who practised at the Katihar court. He was shot dead around 9am near Patel Chowk in Kumhar Toli under Town police station.According to the footage, three youths can be seen surrounding Guddu near a staircase.One of them allegedly forces him to sit on the stairs before firing at his chest. After the shooting, the attackers are seen walking away from the spot without any apparent hurry.Guddu had reportedly gone to the market to purchase household items. As he climbed the staircase towards a shop near Patel Chowk, the three men stopped him and surrounded him.
