The explosion collapsed walls and sent hundreds of people fleeing in panic, authorities said.The blast occurred beside the Nuestra Señora de la Luz church in the central Mexican town where residents were gathered to watch a fireworks display being held as part of celebrations for the local patron saint. The municipality is located about 160 kilometres (100 miles) northwest of Mexico City.The explosion brought down the walls of surrounding buildings and triggered a fire in the town square.Footage circulating online from the accident shows people dancing around with the firework structure in celebration. It was after a couple of rounds that the pyrotechnics began going berserk.
