Police in Christchurch, New Zealand, are investigating reports of a vehicle traveling at high speeds in the wrong direction on a motorway. Witnesses captured footage of the incident, but authorities were unable to locate the driver or identify the vehicle.

<p>Footage has emerged of a vehicle speeding down the wrong side of a Canterbury motorway. </p> <p>Police said officers were alerted to the vehicle on Christchurch's southern motorway at around 8.50am on Sunday.</p> <p>A video of the car, shared to the Christchurch Dash Cams Facebook group, was recorded by a motorist said to be driving from Rolleston towards Christchurch.
