Ben Francis rates the New Zealand Warriors’ performance in their 32-6 win over the Wests Tigers at Campbelltown Sports Stadium in Sydney.
The fullback produced a solid display, finishing with a game-high 209 metres from 19 carries. He was continually put under pressure by the Tigers’ kick chase and was relatively safe under the high ball, although he finished with two errors.
Grew into the game and produced strong carries, although he didn’t get many opportunities in open space. Also impressed defensively, making 15 tackles – well above average for a winger – with the highlight being a brilliant try-saving effort on Jarome Luai late in the contest.
