The Warriors could receive a major boost to their NRL premiership charge, with Jackson Ford and Dallin Watene-Zelezniak both in line to return for the opening week of the finals.
The experienced duo have been sidelined with serious injuries but are closing in on comebacks, with Warriors coach Andrew Webster confirming Ford is a chance to face either the Dolphins or Sydney Roosters in next weekend’s home qualifying final.
Watene-Zelezniak is also pushing to return, although Webster indicated Ford is the more likely of the pair to be available.
Their returns would provide a significant injection of experience to a Warriors side that has been forced to navigate a mounting injury toll throughout the season.
