GHAZIABAD: A 32-year-old man allegedly shot dead his 55-year-old father at their house in Modinagar on Wednesday night. Police said he fired more than three rounds after a heated argument that began when the father confronted him for returning home drunk.According to police, the deceased was identified as Hariom, a resident of Budana village in Modinagar. He was a farmer. He is survived by his wife, Meenakshi, 50, and two sons, Nikhil and Nishu, 27.The deceased's wife said in her complaint that a land dispute had already been ongoing between her husband and their elder son, Nikhil. On Wednesday night, Nikhil came home around 11 pm while Hariom was resting on his bed after dinner."My husband found that Nikhil was in a drunken condition and asked him why he had come home after drinking.
