You’ve heard about the new six-monthly HIV jab, lenacapavir (LEN). You’ve found a clinic that has it. Now what?

First: an HIV test. Then, if LEN is right for you, two pills and two jabs in the tummy or buttocks. The next day, two more pills.

About a month later, there’s a check-up. And six months after your first shots, you’re back for two more, if you feel you still need protection.
