<p>Opera's web browser for Android now offers an eSIM as a first-of-its-kind travel feature and another reason to switch from Google Chrome. Opera gives users 3GB of free 5G data when traveling, letting you trial it with no obligation to buy an extension.</p><p>The eSIM works across your phone, so this isn't limited to just web browsing, meaning you can use it for navigation apps to direct you on a foreign trip, or to keep in touch with friends and family back home throughout a vacation.</p><p>There's one important caveat: you have three days to use your 3GB of data. If you run out of data or time, Opera will prompt you to pay to regain access to its eSIM.
