TRX, the native token of the Tron blockchain, will appear as a U.S.-listed exchange-traded fund (ETF) later Wednesday , giving investors in the world’s largest economy a way of buying exposure to the eighth-largest cryptocurrency without needing to be familiar with crypto processes.

Tron is widely used for stablecoin transfers , and hosts the largest supply of USDT , the biggest dollar-pegged token by market capitalization.

The Canary Staked TRX ETF will debut on Cboe under the ticker TRXS. Tron founder Justin Sun said the fund gives investors a new way to access the network.

“The launch of the Canary Staked TRX ETF demonstrates the growing recognition of the TRON network as critical infrastructure for the global digital economy and provides institutional investors with a new way to access a network that is already powering real-world financial activity at scale,” Sun said in a statement.
