‘Walk in with an idea, walk out with approvals’: Kadapa opens Invest Kadapa centre

The Kadapa district has launched 'Invest Kadapa,' a single-window centre designed to streamline industrial and commercial approvals for entrepreneurs. The initiative aims to transform the region from an agriculture-based economy into a major investment hub in South India.

Kadapa district now has a single-window centre to draw investment. Collector Sreedhar Cherukuri inaugurated ‘Invest Kadapa’ at the Collectorate on Wednesday (September 9, 2026), calling it a one-stop point for promoting investment on all fronts.
“Kadapa district is currently an agriculture-oriented economy. The idea is to promote industrial, commercial and economic activities in the district and make it the top investment destination in South India,” Mr. Cherukuri said.
Speaking to the media later along with Joint Collector Nidhi Meena, Sub-Collector H.S. Bhavana, industrialists, entrepreneurs and investors, he called ‘Invest Kadapa’ a giant leap in introducing the district’s potential, opportunities and resources to the outside world. It would also act as the window for all activities such as allotment of land and resources, approvals and coordination among departments.
