MANILA, Philippines - Several local government units have suspended classes for Friday, July 24, as Tropical Storm Kiyapo (international name: Noul) and the enhanced southwest monsoon (habagat) continue to bring inclement weather to parts of the country.
As of 5 a.m. Friday, PAGASA said Kiyapo had intensified into a tropical storm as it moved closer to Extreme Northern Luzon, while the southwest monsoon continued to bring rains over several areas.
