Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE), Mysuru celebrated “Teachers’ and Engineers’ Day” at the Sri Sahukar Channaiah auditorium on the college campus. The programme was organised by Vidyavardhaka Sangha Mysuru to recognise and honour the contributions and achievements of faculty members.

The chief guest, Lingaraj Gandhi, former Vice-Chancellor, Bangalore City University, Bengaluru, addressed the gathering and highlighted the significant role of teachers and engineers in shaping society through education, innovation and professional excellence.

As part of the celebrations, several faculty members and staff were honoured for their academic and professional achievements. Fifteen faculty members who obtained PhD degrees were felicitated, recognising their contribution towards higher education and research. Four research supervisors were also honoured for their contribution to guiding and promoting research activities.
