VTU to establish two Centres of Excellence on campus

Visvesvaraya Technological University is launching a new 'Reverse Engineering and AICTE IDEA Lab' at its Belagavi campus to provide students with hands-on training. The facility will feature 3D printing and design technology to support student innovation.

Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) will open a ‘Reverse Engineering and AICTE IDEA Lab’ at the Jnana Sangama campus in Belagavi.
T.G. Sitaram, former chairperson of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), will inaugurate the centres on August 19 at 10 a.m. in the presence of VTU Vice-Chancellor S. Vidyashankar and VTU Executive Council Member V. Keshava Murthy.
The Reverse Engineering and AICTE IDEA Lab Centre of Excellence has been established by ‘iValue’, AICTE and VTU. The objective is to provide practical training to students.
