Volunteers intentionally exposed to influenza to advance vaccine research
Canadian researchers have launched a Controlled Human Infection Model study to expose healthy volunteers to influenza in a clinical setting. The goal is to establish a standardized model to accelerate future vaccine development and improve pandemic preparedness.
