An Army recruitment rally under the Agniveer scheme began at the Indira Priyadarshini Stadium in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday (September 2, 2026). It will continue till September 20. About 10,350 candidates from all districts of Andhra Pradesh are expected to participate.

The district administration has made arrangements for drinking water, sanitation, electricity, lighting, toilets and barricading for the rally.
