Vivo launches X Fold 6, V80, S2 FE, OriginOS 7 and its mixed reality headset in India

Vivo has launched a new suite of products in India, including the V80 smartphone, X Fold 6 foldable, and a mixed reality headset. The company is positioning these devices to compete with major global players like Samsung and Apple.

Vivo on Tuesday (October 6, 2026) launched Vivo V80 , Vivo X Fold 6, Vivo S2 FE, OriginOS 7, and a preview of its mixed reality (MR) headset, the Vivo Vision Discovery Edition, in India.
The Chinese smartphone player will be competing with Samsung, Google and now Apple in the foldable space with its third generation folding phone.
Vivo V80 has a 6.59 inch 1.5K OLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate and up to 5,000 nits peak brightness. It runs on a 7200 mAh battery, paired with 90W charger inside the box. It is IP68 and IP69 rated for dust and water resistance.
Vivo V80 features a 50 MP main, a 50 MP ZEISS telephoto camera with OIS and 3X optical zoom, and an 8 MP ultrawide lens. It has a 50 MP selfie camera as well.
