Visa teams up with Reap for stablecoin card programs

Visa teams up with financial technology company Reap , launching stablecoin card programs across more than 100 markets.
The collaboration seeks to bring stablecoin-linked Visa credit card programs globally, powered by Reap’s card issuance infrastructure, in compliance with local regulations.
Further, the move makes way for Reap to become the first fintech in Asia to partner with Visa to allow global stablecoin credit card issuing at scale.
Under the partnership, the entities can launch and scale globally through Reap’s infrastructure, providing the card network authorisation, card processing, compliance frameworks, and operations so teams can focus on product and growth.
For APAC CFOs , the Reap–Visa collaboration is significant as it points to stablecoins moving beyond a digital-asset use case and into corporate treasury, cross-border payments and everyday business spending .
