VIS-The Hindu u-15 inter-school tournament inaugurated
Vellore International School and The Hindu have launched the third edition of an under-15 inter-school football tournament in Chennai. The event features 64 teams and aims to promote discipline and teamwork among youth.

Chennai: Vellore International School (VIS), Chennai, and The Hindu inaugurated the third edition of the under-15 inter-school football tournament at the VIS campus in Kayar on Monday.
The tournament features 64 school teams from Chennai, Kancheepuram, Tiruvallur, Vellore, Chengalpattu and Tiruvannamalai.
The inaugural ceremony was attended by chief guest Daisuke Korenaga (chairman, Football Club Jurong, Singapore), Dr. G.V. Selvam (vice-president, Vellore Institute of Technology, and chairman, VIS), K. Prabhakaran (principal, VIS), Rohit Ramesh (director, The Hindu Group) and L.V. Navaneeth (CEO, The Hindu Group).
