Vijayawada Traffic Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Shareen Begum’s daughter, Hafeesa Begum (24), died and her friend was injured in a road accident in Guntur district on Sunday.
The accident occurred when the car in which Hafeesa Begum and her friends were travelling rammed into a lorry from behind, Guntur Superintendent of Police Vakul Jindal said.
The Nallapadu police are investigating the accident. The condition of the injured person is stated to be stable, Mr. Jindal said.
